It’s true but why give bad(I agree with Benjamin) examples and don’t explain it. This is a blog post – not a part of a book. Many people may follow it, because they are unaware of the vulnerabilities in the code and would consider that a more experienced person than themselves has written the code. If I were you and did not have the time to rework the examples, I would have waited until I did. I’m not trying to offend the author! I’m actually quite often reading this blog :)
